Upcoming concert featuring the new KSU violin/viola faculty, Dr. Madeleine Jansen - May 17

Join the youth and adults of Community Chamber Orchestra in a family-friendly classical music program in the vintage gym of Morganville School. We are presenting Kansas State University's new violin and viola faculty member, Dr. Madeleine Jansen, as our violin soloist on the first work by Dvorak, followed by famous works of Barber, Telemann and Mozart. At intermission and after the concert, fundraisers for the Orchestra are cold water bottles and ice cream items, as well as a huge amount of new and used sheet music and music items of all types, everything for $1/item. (It's like a $1 garage sale under a gym roof!) The Morganville school gym/stage is handicap accessible, with free parking around the closed school.

Since 1997 Community Chamber Orchestra has paid youth and adults to perform without a conductor in North Central Kansas. There are no fees or auditions required for musicians. Director Dr. Anne Clark was awarded the Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievement Award for Music in 2020.
